here's some commercial work for FHM Philippines, sans background designs and whatnot. all eleven illustrations were published in a collector's edition of FHM's monthly segment "Ladies' Confessions" and came out last Valentine's Day.
although they wouldn't rank near my usual FHM contribution like warm up the bath, school's out, or naughty and nice, i am nevertheless proud of these illustrations due to the circumstances surrounding their creation.
long story:
you see, my hard drive of 2 years decided to give up the ghost, taking with it all of the digital works i've done ever since i discovered drawing/coloring with the computer. and yes, i did not have back-up files on most of those drawings. add to that this insane deadline they've given me for the project. add to that my i'll-push-through-with-this-even-if-the-world-is-crumbling vacation, smack in the middle of the production schedule.
and yet i managed to pull it off. i can't thank my good buddy gaktikol enough for letting me crash in the very luxurious acid house studio for a few days.
so there. like i said, long story.
it was a rush job and isn't as good as my usual stuff because of the volume, but i'd like to think i did good, discounting being victimized by murphy's law.
incidentally, i've broken the 400k pageviews mark. i'm really thankful to all of you who've taken the time to check out my stuff. thank you
hypocritical moral values aside.. I love the ambient lighting you have worked into these pieces. You are a master and I guess that's what the asterisk in front of your name means
Dont u think this is too mcuh for one deviation?
Wonderful Work.. <3
