Want to be an Imaginary Friend?

Hi everyone!

Imaginary is a studio created by artists for artists. We are looking for people who work hard and play hard, and who have the talent, experience and passion to take things to another level.

Our studio is well structured and open. Collaboration is a critical part of the process.

Everyone has a say and quality always comes first.

This is not a business. It’s a movement.

We now have tremendous opportunities for talented artists to come on board to work on high profile projects in comics, games and major motion pictures.

We are now hiring for the following full time positions:

Concept/Production Artists:

* Must have outstanding digital illustration capability, and a broad conceptual scope
* Knowledge and application of Animation/3D applications a plus
* Game/film industry experience preferred

Comic Artists:

* Both Line artists and/or Colorists
* Ability to deliver realistic art style
* Experienced, with published work preferred

All applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to Singapore or Jakarta

If you think you’d make a good imaginary friend, send your application to careers@imaginaryfs.com.

Please include the job title in the email’s subject header.

Have a kickass portfolio?

Please don’t email it to us

Set up an online portfolio and send us the link with your application.

We regret that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Goodluck with finding some new members! You guys are pretty high up there with talent but I'm sure there are lots of artists out there who're good enough.

seriously i'm totally not willing to move out of the greatest city in the world to go to a hot, beautiful country with hot asian chics that speak another language that i dont know.. now if it were san diego la, washington something close maybe, the worst there would be relearning my latino language.. why cant we tella commute?

we speak english in singapore. as for telecommuniting- right now we're looking to provide training by celebrity artists as well as lots of projects where artists collaborate very closely. We do engage freelancers on a project basis who are based elsewhere but you dont get the benefit of all those other things that way of course.

wow.. had no idea... i thought it was another language, thats cool then ... yeah some benefits are lost while tellecomuting like the whole feeling you get when some one is excited about your work.. well if you guys would set me up with room and board i'd be happy to hop a plane over there.

If I could relocate to Singapore, I'd be all over this but at this time sadly I am unable to move again as I had just done so. But wow what a great opportunity, good luck! I KNOW you'll get some great applicants.

*sigh* I wish! I've been watching IFS work for quite some time now (I was even able to identify a drawing in a booth at Austin GDC 07) and I have to say all the IFS galleries here at DA are awesome.
...... if only I was talented enough, I would have been in Jakarta tomorrow!
Good luck with the hiring :) let us see more great work in games and comics.
